The most important event we each have to prepare for is the day of our resurrection, and subsequent judgment before Jesus Christ for all our thoughts, words and deeds in this life.
Because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, not a one of us can escape being resurrected and brought before the judgment seat of Christ to answer for our deeds in this life. This will be no mere perfunctory examination, and the Proctor cannot be deceived.
We will do best in that setting if we regularly engage in serious and profound self-examination throughout this life and make regular and thorough course corrections.
